Terms of use

1. The platform

Lovački oglasnik (the Platform) is an online service for hunting equipment classifieds, hunting tourism offers and related content. The Platform does not take part in sales, does not collect payments and does not vouch for users – it connects supply and demand.

2. Who may use it

The Platform is for adults only. By registering you confirm that you are at least 18. For firearm and ammunition categories the Platform may require an additional age check, and a verified phone number to post.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account data and for everything done while signed in. Do not share your password. The Platform may suspend or block an account that breaks these rules.

4. Listings

You may only list items you own or are authorised to sell. A listing must describe the item truthfully, with your own photos. Details are in the Posting rules.

5. Firearms, ammunition and essential parts

Trade in firearms, ammunition and their essential parts is allowed only to persons who meet the conditions of the Croatian Act on the Acquisition and Possession of Firearms by Citizens. When posting, the advertiser confirms that they lawfully own the item and may sell it; the seller must check before the handover that the buyer holds a valid document. A moderator reviews such listings before publication. A published listing does not confirm that the sale is lawful. Details are in the Firearms listing rules.

6. Messages and conduct

Messages are for arranging deals and tours. Spam, insults, threats, attempted fraud and links to outside sites from new accounts are forbidden. You can block or report a user.

7. Moderation and decisions

• Before publication a moderator reviews listings in the firearms, ammunition and hunting dog categories; other listings are published straight away.
• After publication moderators act on reports and their own checks. Decisions are taken by a person.
• Automated rules only prevent abuse: limits on sign-in attempts and messages, a temporary ban on links in messages from new accounts, listings expiring after their publication period.
• If we remove, send back for changes or restrict a listing, review or other content, or block an account, we e-mail you a statement of reasons: what was decided, why, and on which rule or law.
• You can complain about the decision.

8. Contracts and liability

The contract of sale or for a hunting tour is concluded directly between seller and buyer, or provider and hunter; the Platform is not a party to it and takes no part in payment or handover. The Platform is not liable for the content of listings, the accuracy of descriptions, the quality of items or the performance of agreements between users, but it acts on reports of illegal content as described in section 7.

9. Changes

The terms may change when the service or the law changes. The date of the version in force is shown at the top of the page. For significant changes we ask you to accept the new terms at your next sign-in; we record which version you accepted and when.

10. Law and jurisdiction

Croatian law applies. Disputes are decided by the competent court in Zagreb, unless the law provides otherwise for consumers.
